If your DC godparents are not relatives ...
What occasions/holidays do you buy them something? Birthday mothers/Father's Day Xmas? (Reason I say not related is because I am figuring you would probably buy them something anyway)

I have a godson who isn't a direct relative. I have never received a special gift for any holiday. Come to think of it, I don't even think we got a gift the day of the christening either.
ETA: we send my godson and his two brothers Christmas gifts every year, but we would have done that anyway.

My DDs godmother watches her four days a week. So I do give her gifts. Mother's Day, her birthday, and Christmas

Depends on thr relationship. i dont see my godmother regularly so its Just a card in the mail to represent we are thinking of you and noting a special relationship! Same goes for my daughters godmother, who is my cousin who lives in texas. My brothers godparents we are very very close with, and my mom would always pick up a small inexpensive potted plant at King kullen or something like that for Mother's Day.

She gets a bday gift and a birthday gift. Thinking of getting her a godmother card this year if I can find one.

I have 2 god children who are not related to me. Outside of the gift on the day of their baptism, I have never rec'd a gift from them.
My niece gets me something for mothers day, and usually a little soemthing for christmas as well. I think she is the only one of my god children who really does this though
