How much a house sold for?
How can I find out how much a home sold for? It's the house across the street from me. I am kinda nosey 
I looked on the Newsday website but its not listed.
Any ideas?

In NY, you can go to this site and search by name or block and lot number and it will give you a PDF of the mortgage and deed.

OMG I just saw my friends mortgage on her house in Forest Hills
ETA: If you go to Coldwell Banker website, they list house sales that cover LI too.

I believe under Neighborhood information. Put in your zip and one of the items that comes up is recent home sales.

If it was recent - you can also go to the library and look at the last few Sunday Newsdays - they list recent home sales
