Some parents are scared their kid will scrape their knee, some are more laid back. Don't judge, just make sure you bubble wrap your kids before you leave your house.

My kids are definitely not wrapped in bubble wrap but thanks for the suggestion. 
It's interesting to me how different people's opinions on what's dangerous vary. I'm sure we all do what's we think is best for our kids.
