Good Vacation Destination
Where is a good place to go for our first family vacation of 4. My DH and I will be traveling with our 2 boys in the late summer. My oldest will be 3 by then and my youngest will be 1. Any suggestions?

Not sure how far you are looking to go, but we love renting a house on the beach in North Carolina. We've done both Outer Banks and Kure Beach.

I was just going to say the same. We rented condos in Carolina Beach 2 years in a row. Oceanfront condos and it was not that expensive.

Are you looking to just get off the Island and relax? Do you want to do activities geared towards DC? Do you want to do stuff more for you and DH?

I'm so exhausted I read this as "vaccination destination" and was like, "huh?"
Anyway... We are taking our DD to the Outerbanks for her first real vacation. We rented a house on the beach and it also has its own pool, so it will be super convenient! Or so I hope.

Geared more towards DC I would go to Rocking Horse Ranch or Woodloch.
we did disney, while we had fun, the traveling was exhausting!

We just really want to relax. Maybe a few kid things, but mostly veg!
