Heartburn
Apparently, massive amounts of heartburn seem to be my form of MS so far. I get it randomly throughout the day, and sometimes wake up with it when I get up to pee in the middle of the night (because that's started already). What do they say is safe to take when you are preggo?

Re: Heartburn
This is my absolute worst pregnancy symptom BY FAR, and I had it with #1 also. I pop Tums throughout the day, which helps, but on really bad days my doctor said it's ok to take Zantac. The lowest dosage one... Zantac 75, I think? It's very rare that I will take it though. I try to get by on a few Tums a day.

Heartburn
It goes away if I just sit and breath deep for a few, or walk around... walking seems to alleviate most of my symptoms (except the sore boobs). But sometimes in the middle of the night it gets so bad I can't fall back asleep. Thanks for the tip, I thought tums would be OK, but wasn't sure. I knew a lot of the other things were no-no's.

Re: Heartburn
When it's really bad at night, sometimes I prop myself up a bit with my pillow and that helps. It's always worse when you're lying flat.

Re: Heartburn
I had terrible heartburn with all of my pregnancies. My dr told me Zantac was fine to take. It saved my life.

Tums worked for me. I kept them in my nightstand b/c I'd wake up with it bad.

Re: Heartburn
I've had terrible heartburn since the beginning of the 2nd tri. Like PP, it is my worst symptom as well. Tums did nothing for me. Zantac 150 is a life saver. I don't take it more than once a day and some days, I just suffer through the heartburn.

Pepcid and tums work wonders. Strangely enoughly my friend told me to eat pineapple/drink pineapple juice and totally worked. Makes no sense b/c its very acidic yet it did work LOL
