stork craft furniture
I am browsing amazon and see that almost the exact same glider and ottoman at bbb is $400 (different brand) and the stork craft is half the price.
Does anyone have stork craft furniture? How is the quality?

Re: stork craft furniture
i tried a glider out and while it was comfortable, it squeaked, creaked and groaned so it wasn't for me. I thought b/c it was floor model it was used and abused but tried another and the same thing.
If you can read about in the Baby Bargains Book take a look and see what they say.
I decided on Dutailer only b/c of the good quality and customer service and was willing to spend the $400 + but wound up finding a chair on Craigslist in near perfect condition for $35 .
Keep your eyes out on there

The reviews I read were not good... Baby book doesn't like them either :( Otherwise that was my pick too.

Thanks girls, I'm at work so I didn't have my baby bargains book with me. I guess you get what you pay for I'll stick with the $400 glider that is a BBB.

Re: stork craft furniture
Kind of off-topic, but I will say, the prices of these gliders astonishes me. I keep pinning things on how to make your own glider lol

Yes, the glider is more expensive than the crib and dresser I was looking at

It's crazy!
The glider I really want is $1500 LOL, so that's not happening.

Re: stork craft furniture
I have this glider from Stork Craft: http://www.amazon.com/Stork-Craft-Tuscany-Ottoman-Espresso/dp/B002BIIP2Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1396632240&sr=8-2&keywords=storkcraft+glider Though I believe I paid around $170 smt for it.
I personally love this glider and would ot waste my money on anything else! We used it intensely with DS for about a year and a half and then it moved to our library for gentle use. Going to continue using with DD. Yes it started squeaking, but we just oiled it a bit and the squeaking was instantly gone. Both DH and I are not petite ppl and we never "weighed" it down, nor do I feel like it worn off...
