aruba beaches
My dad wants to know how the water is there.. He wants a beach with no waves... Does Aruba have that?

Re: aruba beaches
We stayed at the Raddison and the water had no waves. It does have a fairly strong current though. We would rent floats every day and if you shut your eyes for too long, you are quite a distance from where you started.

Re: aruba beaches
We stayed in the low rise hotel section and the waves weren't crazy but definitely not "no waves" however Baby Beach in Aruba was AMAZING and literally no waves.

Re: aruba beaches
Very calm water, not like Jones Beach. Only time I ever experienced waves in Aruba was when a big hurricane was passing nearby.

Re: aruba beaches
We stayed at Eagle Beach and the waves were pretty much nonexistent. My 18mo old and my 4yo kids (at that time) could play and not get bowled over.

I was in that float all day, some days I drifted out much further than I was comfortable with though But I am a baby when it comes to the ocean. If there had been waves, I would have been on the beach instead.

Re: aruba beaches
Go to the high rise section every year (Marriott surf club) and there are barely any waves - my kids as toddlers were able to walk in no problems
