6 month old schedule
I'm a little late to the game getting my DD on some sort of schedule. I am just starting one today and I have some questions.
How many naps during the day does/did your LO take? How many times do they drink BM/formula and eat solids?
If you wouldn't mind sharing your schedule, if appreciate it

Re: 6 month old schedule
DS is only 5.5 months, but we have a very loose schedule. He has a bottle 4-5 times a day. And takes about 3 naps a day. We haven't started solids yet, but plan to this weekend. Here's how our day usually goes:
7:30- wake up 8:30- bottle 9:30-10ish- down for nap 1:00- bottle 1:30-2ish- down for a nap 5:00- bottle 5:30-6ish- down for a nap 9:00- bottle 10:00- down for the night
He sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night for a bottle, but not every night.
When we start solids I plan to put them in around 1:30 and 5:30 and then put him down for naps after.

Re: 6 month old schedule
At 7 months was when my pretty regimented DD went from 3 naps a day to 2 naps a day. (Just figured I would lead with that should you start a schedule and then find yourself modifying it relatively quickly.) we still haven't worked all the kinks.

Thanks for sharing. I was planning to do 2 naps a day, but 3 may be better to start out with.

Yeah I'm going to see how it goes the first couple of days and make adjustments as we go along. Wouldn't it be nice if babies came with step by step instructions?!

Re: 6 month old schedule
7:30am - wake - 8 oz. formula with two tablespoons oatmeal cereal.
9-9:45am - nap
10:15am - two stage two jars (4.5 oz each) - usually yogurt, apples, blueberries, bananas, anything like that.
12pm - nap for an hour
1:15pm - 8 ounces formula and one more jar of stage two veggies - usually sweet potatoes or carrots.
3pm - nap for an hour
4:15pm - 8 ounces of formula and one more jar of stage two something - sometimes chicken, sometimes another veggie, sometimes green peas.
NO NAP - but usually very pleasant
6:45pm - 8 oz. formula with two tablespoons of oatmeal cereal.
In bed out cold by 7pm and sleep straight until 7am.
He is an eater! And a good sleeper! Great kid. He'll be seven months on April 9th.

Re: 6 month old schedule
DS2 just turned 7 months and this is what we do:
He takes 3 naps per day. His 1st 2 naps are each about 1hr20-1hr30min long. His last nap is anywhere from 40 minutes -1hr30. I put him down for a nap about 2 hours after he wakes each time. He's EBF and nurses about every 4 hours now, and has solids in between nursing sessions.
Approx. schedule, every day is diff since I nurse on demand and he sleeps more/less
7AM - wakes up, nurses 8:30ish - 3 tbsp oatmeal w/ BM plus 2oz of apple, prune, etc 9AM - Nap #1 (until about 10:30) 11AM - nurses 12:30PM - NAP #2 (until almost 2) 2 PM - 3oz veggie 3PM - Nurses 4PM - Nap #3 (sometimes this one is short but still 45min-1hr 20) 5:30 - 3 tbsp oatmeal w/BM plus squash, or carrots and peas, etc, maybe 1oz fruit also 7:15PM Nurses (I nurse him to sleep) Usually asleep by 7:30PM.
He's 21lbs. Until 2 weeks ago he was nursing every 2.5-3 hours but suddenly started going longer. He wakes 1 x night and nurses a little. I think it's for comfort at this point and plan to CIO next week.
