Florida Keys
DH & I are thinking of going to the Keys in October. Any rec's on where to stay? He's been there before but I never have. I usually do research on Trip Advisor but there are so many options. Also, how many days would you stay?

It depends on which key you want to stay in. Key largo is the closest to Miami. A lot of people stay in islamorada. Key west has a cute little town and it's so fun to walk duval street.
Her are some of the nicest properties to look into:
Cheeca Lodge
Little palm island resort
Ocean key resort and spa
Parrot key hotel
Hyatt key west
Casa marina
Westin key west
Hawks cay

I went to Key West a couple if years ago and loved it! I think the place we stayed was Heron Inn or something like that. Really nice boutique inn. Small, but nice and clean pool in the courtyard. And they offered continental breakfast and free wine and hors duerves on certain evenings,

Key West was awesome we were there in 2001 and stayed at the Casa Marina. it was very nice!

We spent a week in Key West and rented a condo. I can't remember the name of the development at the moment, but if you're interested I can look it up. We had a great time. Just be aware that the beaches on Key West are not the greatest.
