Who was Julia making out with/having sex with? It didn't look like Ed...
I think Julia has a right to cheat on Joel now. hes being terrible. and he should still go back to her!!!!
i dont care about any of the sarah storyline
ive been loving the max storyline. he is such a good actor!!!! and i love adam and him surfing together.

i dont care about any of the sarah storyline
ive been loving the max storyline. he is such a good actor!!!! and i love adam and him surfing together.
It kind of looked like the teacher from Max's school at quick glance but I'm not sure.
I'm really sad about Julia and Joel, the previews made me feel bad. I don't want them to be over. 
I just LOVE this show. Love the whole family dynamic and how they are all always looking out for one another. It's really great.

They make it look like max's teacher, but that would be a jump from Ed since they last showed them meeting for drinks.
Joel is being such a jerk. And when he put his hand over Pete's. Ugh. They were such a good family, but you never know.
Don't care at all about the Sarah storyline.
Love the max one and how happy he was surfing. He's so good at playing that role. Love how amazing the parents are.

it was definitely max's teacher!! crazy. and i hate how joel is being, but at the same time i understand his point of view regarding him supporting her career all those years and how she couldn't even do one year at home to support him. but still, moving out and breaking up their family seems a little extreme. i kind of didn't like her going out with ed at the end, but maybe theres a little bit of wanting to stick it to joel going on.

i agree about the career thing too. i cant WAIT to see how things play out with Ed next week!!

there seemed to be a lot going on than just the emotional affair with Ed. but like a fundamental flaw in their union. like the disrespect Julia demonstrated barging into his office like that, and her not being able to step into his SAH parent role. and those previews might serve as proof to her character as someone who's kinda lost sight of her vows.
my dh disagrees and thinks it's poor julia acting out her frustrations because of Joel moving out.
i say it might show it would have happened sooner or later, regardless of a spouse moving out.

I loved the scenes with Adam and Max in the water.
And I also love Ray Ramono on the show. Hope him and Sarah get back together just so he stays into next season (if they get picked up)

Team Joel all the way!
I think this whole story line has made Julia seem really spoiled and self-entitled.
It's not just the fact that her relationship with Ed was wildly inappropriate, but I always think she downplays it in her head and when she's talking to her siblings, like she doesn't think she was wrong. Bringing Ed dinner and meeting for a drink date certainly isn't helping her case.
