cramps

Ok so I am 35 weeks 3 days and for the last 2 weeks I have been getting horrible cramps on and off nothing consistent and always in the same spot right under my belly like when you get a cramp from running type felling.. Just pass it off as Braxton hicks.
Well for the past hour I keep getting this very painful cramp but its on the opposite side of the normal cramps ive been getting and its more on the side and further up ( kind of where his feet normally are).
Are these Braxton hicks too or something else?? I have been drinking water all day so I don't think that's it.

Re: cramps

def call your dr... this happened to me when I was 34 weeks and after my dr visit they sent me to the hospital due to pre-term contractions. after 2 hours on the IV the contractions stopped and everything was fine but I was glad I got checked out. better to be safe! good luck Chat Icon

Can you time them? Or is a consistent cramping? If they are time-able and painful enough that they stop you in your tracks then I would call your doctor. Never hurts to call.

Re: cramps

I had them when i was pregnant with #2 for a few weeks. They would wake me up at night. Once or twice i got up wondering if i should wake my husband. For me, they were just BH's.

It wasn't until i got the period cramping along with it that it was real.

Better safe than sorry. Call your OB and ask just in case. Chat Icon

Re: cramps

Thanks ladies. They seem to have gone away now so hopefully it stays like that.. Maybe it was just the way he was laying...
