st lucia or st maarten w/kids
Def st Maarten. St Lucia is full of cliffs and most hotels are among them. Most of the beaches are not easily accessible from the resort.

St maarten but id stay on the dutch side. The french side was an adventure. not to mention the nude beaches may scar kids for life lol!

St Lucia is my favorite island, but I'd pick st Martin with kids. The beaches are nicer and calmer, st Lucia is very rocky/mountainous, more of venture out and do stuff kinda island, where st Martin is more relaxing, better options for things for kids to do in my opinion.

Dutch side of St. Maarten. The water is much calmer. Also, you want to go to Pinel Island with them. Bring a cooler with food and drinks so you don't have to buy stuff at the pricey restaurants.

We're going to St. Lucia for our honeymoon next week because our travel agent said that it was a place for mostly couples. I'm not sure how true that is, but based on what I've heard I would say St. Maarten is the better option.
