Should Original Contractor Repair?...
It's been about 2 years since my kitchen was renovated. My husband noticed that some of the cabinets are not installed too well (not glued or nailed properly) and one upper cabinet is about 1/4 inch away the wall. We're afraid it will fall down if something isn't done.
Do you think the contractor who did the work should repair free of charge?
TIA!

Re: Should Original Contractor Repair?...
I would contact them. I still contact my original GC 5 years after some of his work because he forgot some things.
Is the cabinet 1/4 off the wall, or is the wall 1/4 off of level? Sometimes, if the wall isn't plumb, the cabinets aren't flush with the wall. The cabinets are installed fine, but the wall is crooked.

You should have received a warranty period from the contractor. SO that will determine it its def free or not.
