My doctor told me regular Claritin is fine during pregnancy

I took claritin every day - I tried to not take it for a few days in the very beginning - immediately I had hives and trouble breathing.

I take Zyrtec. My OB stated it was safe to take.

My OB said Claritin and Zyrtec were fine.
I was in the midst of my worst time of year for allergies when I got pregnant so I took one or the other quite often in my first trimester.

allergies?
Only take stuff that doesn't have "D" in the name. Like Allegra D- 24 hr which helped me so much last year, I can't take now.
