Shipped a package to The Contemporary.

I shipped a package to the Contemporary last Wednesday for our upcoming trip. I shipped it with Fed Ex. Last time we went to Disney we shipped a package and was told to send it 7-10 days before arrival so I did the same this time. We arrive on Sunday.

I tracked my package Friday morning and it said it was on the truck for Delivery. I just checked and it now says "Customer not available or Business Closed".

I labeled the box with our name and arrival date, doesn't the hotel just hold it till we arrive. That's what PO French Quarter did the last time.

Anyone have the same issue? Im nervous that I won't get my package which has all of our toiletries, diapers, wipes, shoes, princess costumes...etc.

I hate fedex, for exactly the problem you are having now. They always want us to sign for our packages. You should call the 800 number and see what they say.

I am pretty sure the Contemporary stuff goes to their business center. I believe they only hold for 7 days. Did you include your reservation number, name and check in date on the package too?

If you sent it to the POBox address it is an issue. Not sure if you did not. You could call the hotel and ask...BUT keep in mind when you call you get a call center NOT the actual hotel despite what the person on the phone might tell you.

Packages at the Contemporary go to the business center. It's possible Fed Ex tried to deliver it after the business center was closed. The front desk won't sign for a package (I found this out when my AMEX account was hacked while in Disney and
Disney and I had to have a new one overnighted.)

I'd call fed ex and ask what happened before calling the contemporary.

Thanks, that would make sense. Especially, if the business center hours are 9-5. Fed Ex tracking says it tried to deliver it at 5:10pm.

Also be aware that there's a small fee when you pick up the package - I think it was $10.
