What kind of oils did you add, how much, and did it help them gain weight?

Dr's usually will suggest this when they are not gaining weight

I have seen some posts on here about adding olive oil or coconut oil. The dr suggests more nursing for now, which I am trying to increase, but I already nurse her on demand. The only other thing I can think of is the solids DD eats aren't very high in fat.
DD is still gaining a bit, but not fast enough to stay on her growth curve (which was already a low percentile).

I was also told olive oil and when they are on solids, avocado, for it's healthy fat content

Almost 17 months. It started at her 15 month appointment. It was suggested we try to increase solids. We did, although DD is really picky, we got her to eat more of the stuff she liked and mixed in other things with them. But when we went for her extra weight check, she had barely gained anything, probably because she is replacing higher calorie breastmilk with more lower calorie solids. I was afraid that would happen, but hopeful she would just eat extra and drink the same amount...so, now I am supposed to nurse more. But I doubt she will take more. Not even sure if I could increase supply again at this point.

I added coconut oil to some things like scrambled eggs. I also add half and half and whole milk cheese to her eggs. Around 14-15 months I was giving milk in a sippy in addition to nursing bc I was worried about how much DD was getting but my supply tanked by 16 months and I ended up weaning completely. I remember others suggested adding coconut oil to yogurt too. Maybe try limiting the empty calories so she'll be hungry for other things. I rarely gave things like puffs bc there's really nothing to them. I actually limit snacks altogether bc I find DD doesn't eat meals when she snacks and I'd rather her get in those more nutritious meals.

Thanks. I'm always worried about my supply because I can't tell how much she's getting. But, DD isn't really interested in other liquids. She drinks maybe an ounce or two per day from her straw cup.
