Bermuda in October

Thinking of going on a cruise from 9/28-10/3 to Bermuda. The avg. temp is listed as high of 80.

Has anyone been during this time of year, is it still hot enough to enjoy the beach and water? I know 80 seems high, but I am the type of person who is always cold. LOL

That is kind of outside their season. Not sure that is still hurricane season too.

Bermuda in October

Only even been in August. Bermuda isn't as far south as people think, so it's really not that warm. It's basically the same climate/temperatures as the Carolina's.

I was there a few years ago in mid October. It was warm out, but a little too cool to go in the water.

We went 3 years ago late October. It was perfect IMO. Temps were on the low 80s. The water was plenty warm.

I had been there in July too, and it was just too hot for me then.

Re: Bermuda in October

Honestly, my cousin lives there and she tells my family that the best times are June thru September...like a pp said, it's not that far south! It also is in major hurricane territory!

Re: Bermuda in October

We didn't listen and went there mid may a few years ago and honestly, it was only mid 70's...not the greatest! That's how September and October could be...COULD is the key word!

Yes was there late October on a cruise. Was perfect.

I was there in february and that was too cold for water but it was in the 60s there.
