Went for our 3D sono tonight and...
the little diva wouldn't cooperate  lol. She had her fists in front of her face like a boxer...the whole time. She's gonna be a stubborn lil thing like her daddy...& her mommy 
We went to Little 3d Wonders in Nesconset and they were SO nice there. We're gonna go back in a week for another try. Hopefully she cooperates more then! 
Anyone else have trouble the first time but it worked out better the 2nd time around?? I feel like at every single sono her lil hands are covering her face.
Update:
Sooo, we tried again this week and baby girl was still stubborn. We didn't get any pics of her face this time  So for $200, I got a shot of her hands blocking her face, her girly parts, and a pic of her face half covered...plus the stuffed animal with her heartbeat...at least that part is cute

Went for our 3D sono tonight and...
That's where we went. Loved them.
Dd didn't cooperate for an hour for the gender. We went back a few weeks later and she was better.

We went there. They were so nice! DD didn't cooperate the first time but she did the next time. I was told to eat 30 mins before and I guess that did the trick.

I didn't do my 3d sono there...but my dd never cooperated...lol...they had me come back four times to try and see her face but she was always pressed up against the placenta...they would have kept trying but I gave up...I figured she wasn't ready to let me see her...lol

That's what she told me too  I did eat a banana on the way there and then after a while of trying to get the pics, they gave me some Hershey kisses to try...still a no go lol. I purposefully didn't drink juice or eat much because when I did that before my anatomy scan, she was flipping like crazy and they couldn't get all the measurements they needed!

My doctor office put the3D on for just a few shots of my sons face my last pregnancy. He had his arms up by his face too. She tried to get him to move them but he wouldn't. When he was born he seemed to really enjoy sleeping with his arms up by his face. Just like on the Sono.

Went for our 3D sono tonight and...
I didn't go there.. but same thing happened with the 3d sono. Luckily, a good friend is a sono tech and was the one doing the test.. so she was extremely patient.. she tried for over an hour.. finally when she was about to give up the baby moved her arms last second and we got one good shot..

For people who get the 3D sonograms at private places, do your doctors not have the ability to do it in their office? At my doctor's office, they just flick the switch and try to get a few good shots of DS. We get 10-15 images (regular and 3D) on a CD each time.

Our DS always has his hand by his face during the 3D sonograms when I go to the doctor.

She has had her hands up there during every sono I've had. I'm going back next Thursday...praying to get a couple of good shots.

Mine doesn't do it at our office.. she said it's never a medical necessity.. which is probably true, but i did want to see her!! I'm very impatient! My old ob who I switched from didn't do it there either

Interesting. It only takes like an additional 3-5 minutes to get a few shots (but usually DS cooperates during the scan) - I was honestly indifferent about it since I feel like they never accurately capture what the baby looks like, but since it was offered, I figured why not!

I got one free re-scan...if I wanted to try again, it's an addition $50. I already spent $200 so definitely not doing it again because she probably won't cooperate anyway! My husband said the same thing..."we'll see her in 2 months" lol
