Playdate food question
DS is only 4 and we've been on a lot of play dates, but with moms I have gotten to know very well and have become friends. Some moms put out so much food you'd think it was a party for only 2 or 3 kids and 3 moms. Another I've been to has put out some pretzels and hummus, which is perfectly fine too. Usually play dates only last hour to two hours depending. Sometimes before school a little longer and put the kids on the bus together so I will serve lunch.
What is your go to snacks and food you put out for play dates? Looking for more healthy and easy snack ideas to serve to everyone.

Re: Playdate food question
I've done mini bagels if it's lunch time Fruit Salad Goldfish cookies yogurt Munchkins
I have to be careful what I serve because we have friends with food allergies so I usually ask the parents ahead of time and double check before I put anything out.

Thanks! Love the mini bagels idea. Usually do goldfish and sometimes pizza, but one boy we do a playdate with is lactose so I don't serve cheese.

Re: Playdate food question
My DD is also 4 and almost all our playdates are at lunch time - right after school - I usually get mini bagels with cream cheese for the kids and water or juice and also have snacks on hand that I offer the kids (pretzels, veggie straws, cheese sticks, fruit, etc etc.). I also usually try to have a treat for them after the lunch like cake pops or mini cupcakes. I usually also get a tossed salad with grilled chicken and put that out for the mom/moms. I have it down to a science lol and the bagel delivery place recognizes my voice ha ha ha!
