Putting carseat back together after washing?
My DD threw up in her car seat last week so I took it apart and washed it and like an idiot, I was just in such a rush to get it apart that I didn't even pay attention to how the straps were assembled. Now I have no idea how to put it together again! I'm so mad at myself... I checked the manual and I also checked YouTube to see if there were any videos but no luck. It's the Graco My Size 70. I can't figure out the strap situation. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have this seat, maybe I can help you figure it out? ?
Put the headrest all the way up (you'll see why in a minute)When you put the straps through the cover take the lap clips and clip them to the buckle as you would when putting your dd in. Take the strap and feed it through the clip from back to front. Take the chest clip for that side and feed it through from bottom to top.take the top of the strap and feed it through the headrest to the back of the seat (its easier to thread through when thehheadrest is fully extended) do the same to the other side.
When both straps are through the back clip them back on to the split plate being sure they are completely in all the way.
Just a side note, what did you wash the straps with? Anything more then a damp cloth and a little dish soap in not allowed by Graco. If you saturated them that is not allowed either. You would have to contact Graco to see what to do since either could jeopardize the integrity of the straps.
Good luck and let me know if you need more help! !

It sounds like you may need to replace the straps if they were saturated

Vinegar is extremely acidic and not recommended as it could jeopardize the strength of the straps. Personally I would call Graco about it.
