Q If you had DC evaluated for EI
Approx how long did it take for the evaluators to get back to you with the results? DS was evaluated 1 week ago. They wouldn't tell me if he qualified and said that they would have to write up a report and get back to me. TIA!

They were able to tell me right away he probably wouldn't qualify. I got the "official" results back about a week later.

They couldn't tell us yes or no at the eval b/c its a numbers thing. They had to plug her scores for each category into the computer to get percentages. I think they can tell you right away if there is a noticeable delay in an area. I think our apt with the county was 2 weeks after eval so we knew by then that she qualified.

It took a week to get the report, but they told me while they were doing the evaluation if she would or not.

at our appointment they put all the scores in the computer and we waited a 1/2 hour for the results. I think it depends on the place you go.

They told us during our evaluation that DD would qualify, but it would take 2 weeks to get the report and initiate services.

Thanks yes I pretty much made them tell me whether or not he qualified because I didn't want to wait for the report in the mail!
