Question about colors in boy nursery?
I love grey and white for a nursery. I also love when yellow accents are added in. Is this too girly for a boy? I have dark wooden furniture.

Question about colors in boy nursery?
I painted my 2 yr olds sons big boy room gray and love it. I think in a nursery you could get away with the yellow and gray color sceme but I mostly see that as a modern girly style. It also depends what shade of yellow too. Definitely go for the gray though its so nice for a boy. How about gray and orange. I painted my sons night stand orange and they look great together.

I also see the yellow as more girlie but I LOVE gray for a boy or a girl. We are doing gray and navy for our DS, I love how they look together for a nursery.

Re: Question about colors in boy nursery?
I love those colors together! I don't see it as gender specific. The bedding will make it look more girl or boy

Re: Question about colors in boy nursery?
I am having boy/girl twins and am doing grey/white/yellow. Hoping it is not girlie- it is hard to find something for a boy and a girl

Re: Question about colors in boy nursery?
i am having twins, but am
i am repainting the nursery gray and white and then thought i would add touches of pastel: blue, pink depending or even yellow and green.
NUrsery was light yellow and white for my DD and then my DS, but it desperately needs sprucing up, so i thought i would change the color.

Re: Question about colors in boy nursery?
I'm having twins (b/g) and their nursery is grey & white. The bedding for my girl is lavendar, and the bedding for my boy is navy.
Grey/White/Yellow - is PERFECT and beautiful!
I even contemplated grey/white/teal.

Re: Question about colors in boy nursery?
My husband grandma already made me a beautiful grey and yellow baby blanket. Grey, white abd blue is also pretty but I love the yellow. I know it's kind of girly but I think I will go with it anyway. Make sure the yellow is not too much or to girly looking. I never got a girl room to decorate so this boy gets somewhat girly room for now. Haha Thanks!!!

I don't think it's girly at all! I think it's a beautiful neutral combination.

Re: Question about colors in boy nursery?
I figured I could only have control for so long so I did what I liked: white nursery furniture with light blue, light green, yellow and white colors. Blue walls. Plaid/star and moon theme based on PBK bedding. We have a white glider with yellow fabric. I love it, cheerful and babyish.
