Disneyland
We are planning to g o to Disneyland in midJuly for 2 days. And then go to Santa Barbara for a wedding...
Any recs on where to stay. We don't have to stay on site. I know there are plenty of hotels in walking distance...

I would look at a map of disneyland. There is a best western that is literally at the gates and closer than the hotels in the theme park.

I'm researching this also. There are several hotels that are right across the street. Here is a map

I looked at a lot of them, and we are leaning toward the Fairfield Inn and Suites. They offer cute Disney themed suites, and the hotel is up to date and modern. (#7 on the map)

There are some awesome Good Neighbor hotels that have special packages for Disneyland.
There are several to choose from within walking distance to the parks.
