Wording for note with bday invite (gifts collected for charity)
My DD doesn't want any presents from her friends at her bday party. Instead, she would like them to bring a book or toy to donate to a specific charity. Does anyone have a cute way to phrase this so I can put it on an insert with the invitation?

I have used "your presence is present enough, no gifts please".
Maybe "your presence is present enough for me, please bring a small toy or book to be donated to XXX charity".
BTW: Very nice!
