Speech for a 4 year old (in Queens)
DS has received EI for speech about 2 years ago for a few months. He's 4 now & I think I'd like to have him evaluated again. His pronunciation is poor compared to his nursery school classmates. I chose an evaluation site near my home but what if he doesn't make it through? Can I have him evaluated again through a different evaluator?

If he doesn't qualify for speech through CPSE, you can go privately through insurance or OOP.

This. Also, I believe there is an option to appeal the decision. But I'm not definite on that.
