SAHMs of 18 months olds
My DD is being clingy but in a weird way... Like she doesn't want to crawl or walk, she wants to be picked up all the time now. she keeps saying "up" and puts her arms up to be picked up. When she gets there she is fighting for everything in sight no matter what it is and squirming out of my arms. It's just this circular pattern. She seems out of control at times. She gets easily frustrated lately over everything and nothing seems to be holding her interest the way it used to. Some of my other friends say its a stage- it is/was the way their kids are/were but since they are FTWMs they don't really have any suggestions to make the day go quicker. Does anyone here have any suggestions or advice about whats going on?

Not a SAHM but my guess is she wants to see what's up high and then wants to touch it all. Normal.

This is my daughter to a T! I am a WAHM and she is the same way. I definitely think it is a stage. I have no advice, just empathy!

Same here. Dd is 16 months and lately has been reaching up for me a lot, wanting to be carried. And then loses interest and wants to get down, just to start hysterically crying to be picked up again. She also just gets more frustrated over all and throws herself down on the floor in a full fledged crying fit over absolutely nothing. I think it is the age. It's very frustrating for babies that age to see things they want but they can't communicate yet. Hopefully its a phase that passes quickly!

Everywhere I walk in the house she is right behind me, lol. I cant even make food at the counter or do anything in the kitchen because she is always right there !
