What to do with all these baby items?

I am moving soon out of state.
I have a ton of stuff I was trying to sell on those buy sell groups, but , I just do Not have the time to keep up with that. It's all about, bumping the posts and meeting with people, etc. Don't have time.

Is there a children's consignment store near Babylon or Lindenhurst that I can sell these items to?

Some things like a high chair that is still in great condition and car seat (that is not expired) with two bases...
Plus I have a ton of toys that my son grew out of. Some I can see if my new tenants want them because she has a little boy... but, I really need to clean house now. Time is going very fast!

Look up Once Upon a Child. I'm sure there's a location near you.

they won't take car seats but most places won't because of an unknown history of the seat. Other baby items they will take but they don't pay much.

You can be a consignor at a kids kloset event. The next one is in April in Suffolk and Nassau in May.

Or post some of it here on the parenting and pregnancy boards

Try finding a shelter or a Sandy relief group to donate them too.

What about a yard sale? Someone in my neighborhood had one on Sunday and they had a ton of traffic. I know it's still cold but it may pay off for you that it's not prime yard sale season but people are always looking for baby items. I would devote one day to that and then donate whatever doesn't sell or bring it to once upon a child.
