Eating Q, what's next
OK... So Jordana is liking her rice cereal. I am gradually making it thicker. Today it was pretty thick and not soupy at all.
So now what??
I was planning introducing barely cereal on Saturday (1 week of solid food). When do I get to veggies?

Re: Eating Q, what's next
I would do one week of rice cereal, one week of barley and one week of oatmeal, just to make sure she can handle all three just fine. Then, after that, start introducing veggies and fruits. Use only one veggie or fruit for about 3 days to make sure she doesn't have an allergic reaction. I started with veggies because I wanted Alex to become accustomed to the taste before getting hooked onto the sweet fruits.

That was my plan exactly!!! Down to the veggies first. I just wasn't sure if it was right. Thanks!

I did a month of cereal before I moved on to veggies. You can go through all the cereals first and then move on to veggies. Or you can alternate cereal, veggie, fruit...etc

I think it works, too, because Alex LOVES her veggies. She gobbles them right up and isn't quite as into the sweet stuff...
