Swedish Nasal Aspirator RAVE -

I've been meaning to post about this nasal aspirator that we purchased at BRU but I think they sell them at other baby stores. Anyway, It is from Sweden and I don't refer to it by it's name because it's name is the "snot sucker" and I just can't bring myself to use that term LOL especially in front of Julian.

Anyway, we call it the Swedish Aspirator instead HAHA but my post is to let everyone know, if they do not already know, that it is AMAZING. Jude gets SUPER stuffy and congested - it will interfere with eating and sleeping but since purchasing this he's perfect - it is like a Godsend!!

It also upsets him MUCH MUCH MUCH less than the traditional aspirator.

Had I known before I would have purchased it from day one -- from now on this is my stock "you must get!" item to let new parents know about!

the nose frida is great!

i do also find the aspirator they give at the hospital is pretty good too...but the ones you buy in stores that come with first aid kids do not do the trick at all.

The Nose Frida really is great! We just had to use ours last week when DD had a bad cold and was really congested. It's soooo gross, but really does the job!

We also use the Nose Frieda. My boys are 2 1/2 & one of them asks for it when sick. He tells me to clean his nose. haha

This was originally on my registry and then one day my mom brought to my attention how it works. We were both so grossed out I took it off and registered for the bulb only. Well sure enough the first time dd was congestioned I changed my tune real fast and ran out and bought it. It is really great!

They also make one for gas that goes in the rear thankfully I haven't had to explore that one and figure out how it works but my friend recently had a baby and I know she has it too.

Re: Swedish Nasal Aspirator RAVE -

I'm going out to buy this tomorrow. My kid is so congested & I came on here to see what else to do. I got some of his mucus out using the regular bulb aspirator but I'm not very good at doing it when ds is really upset. Thanks for the suggestion!
