If a large number of people haven't RSVP-d to your DC's party...
We invited 36 kids to DS's 5th birthday party. We rented a large bounce house place and are catering it. It is his first friend party so we invited his entire class and some other friends and family.
Anyway, of the 36 kids, only 20 have responded yes (1 no).
What would you assume of the other 15?
That they aren't coming? That they are coming?
The "per head" count doesn't matter, but I want to make sure I have enough food....
Anyone have any experience with this?
Some of them I know by sight, but many of the parents I don't know at all... Thanks!!!
eta: RSVP date is today, party is Sunday

That is what I was thinking! But I don't want to have a ton of wasted food either...

I would kindly try to get in touch with those who havent responded and let them know you are having it catered and need a final headcount.

this is what i would do too
i wouldnt assume either way (i had about 10 people that responded late for DDs party and they were all yes)

agreed... when was hte rsvp by date, and when is the party?
After our rsvp date we oly had 1 person who then rsvped (maybe 4 or 5 days late) of the 10 who didn't rsvp, none of them came.

If a large number of people haven't RSVP-d to your DC's party...
Their No's...you might get one or two a day before the party call but your not going to get show ups without a call.
This is in my experience 3 kids..10 years of class bday parties lol
