This made me cry! Not sure if my DD will be my one and only due to the complications I had, so I think like this all the time!

That's exactly why I'm having such a hard time with the decision to try for a third or just be done now.

It makes me sad to think about never being pregnant again, never having that anticipation of a new baby coming, no more baby bottles, no more yummy baby smell, no more teeny tiny babies. Chat Icon

It's so hard to make the decision that your youngest child is really your LAST child. Forever.

That's a VERY hard decision to make. Chat Icon

Re: The Last One

It's all so very true! We'd love a 3rd but with IF issues I think our 2nd is our last and it really is bitter sweet!

The Last One

this whole thread honestly brought me to tears. with our IF issues we don't know if our DD will be our one and only or if we will be blessed to have another.
Just yesterday I was putting her brand new size 12 month PJ onesies on and they were kinda tight and i was thinking...well, once she outgrows these completely she'll already be in her summer pjs and then she'll never wear onesie pjs again i started tearing up and DH had no idea what was wrong with me, Ha!

Yes! DD is 3 and my mom bought her a fleece footie one piece pajama (like the babies wear) and she LOVES it. She calls it her "Fancy Jammies" and asks to wear it every night.

Makes me sad too!!

I have two girls i will always wonder should I have another? Should I try for that boy? What if will always be a question in my mind..what if I had more money, than can I try to have another. What if I could buy a house with 4 bedrooms one day? I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I hate knowing that my second DD is my last. I know I cant afford another..but deep inside I would love another. I love little babies!! This is coming from someone who gets very sick the whole 9 months, high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, and 2 c sections. I said it before know way would I do this again..i want to lose weight and get back to into shape..but then i think what would it be like to try once more for that little boy? My Dh says no way!! What if its another girl!! haha! I no its not in my cards now, I will cherish every momet of my last baby. But i will tell you this..IF i EVER win Lotto...I am gonna go for number 3!! haha!

OMG - this is exactly how I feel. Except DD is my one and only. I knew all through my pregnancy I would only have 1 after many losses and thank my lucky stars everyday for her. When she grows out of clothing, or toys etc... it does sadden me that I have no use for them anymore - but its the best decision for my family.

thank you for posting this -- makes me feel like I'm not the only one who feels like this....

Re: The Last One

I would have loved to have a second baby, but DH and older and had a scare with our first. Plus, I feel like our family is complete with the 3 of us.
With that being said, this made me sad. I would not say I liked being pregnant, but just knowing I will never feel life inside me again makes me sad. As my DD, grows out of clothes, I get sad that they won't be passed on.
