Playdate length
What is a reasonable amount of time at a playdate? Personally, I like the 1.5-2 hour range but I always feel like others mothers are trying to get me to stay and keep the date going.

Re: Playdate length
Unless it's a close friend, 1.5 to 2 hours is the maximum amount of time I can suffer through small talk.

Re: Playdate length
Mine are usually 1 to 2 hours. I can't see it going past two hours honestly. The kids are done at that point as well.

Re: Playdate length
My DC are older, and still, unless they are really good friends, not just "playdate friends", 1.5-2 hours is tops.

Re: Playdate length
I don't put a time limit on it. Although it winds up being about 2 hours only bc DS has the afternoon class and we do playdates with his friends from class in the morning before school. So far I really have liked all the moms I've done playdates with. If the boys are having fun and I'm enjoying myself then we stay longer. Why cut it short if everyone is getting along unless of course you need to be somewhere or maybe go home for a nap.

Playdate length
How old is your child? I have twins 27 months. Our playdates are usually at 10am-12. My boys nap at 12-2:30 so usually don't stay past 12
