Lots of Disney Questions

I am starting to think about a trip to Disney but it would not be until next summer (2015). How far in advance can/should you book the trip?

Also, we are looking to stay at a Moderate resort. There will be about 15 people and we will need 5/6 rooms. One person would need a handicap accessible room. Also, a long walk to food and main lobby of the hotel is really not something we are looking for since my uncle has trouble walking long distance (although we will probably be renting a wheelchair for for the parks). Any recc on a Moderate resort?

Also, do you rec using a travel agent since we have so many specification or do you think this is something I can plan myself? It is stressing me out and it is more than a year away! Lol. Thanks for any advice!!!

You could book it all yourself, but I think with the number of requirements you have, an agent would be best to help you tailor your plans to be the best for your needs. They might even think of things that you didn't.

We used travel kerri to book our next vacation and have been happy so far.

As far as mods... I've done Caribbean beach and riverside port Orleans
Liked both a lot.. Just different vibes.

Riverside is quaint and country.. Carribean is more tropical

Main pool at carribean is nicer i think. Bigger too I believe .. If you have kids going, the pool is awesome.

Also I would get a preferred room. It's a bit more money but it won be out of the way

Check out disboards.com. It's like lif for all things disney. There are seasoned Disney vets who can give you amazing advice
