Crashing: City Mini vs. Cruz Stroller

Hey ladies -

Sorry to crash, but wanted to see for those that have the City Mini or the Cruz, what your thoughts are. We're stuck between the two and wanted to hear from others who have used them what they thought. Pros/Cons, etc.

Thank you!Chat Icon

i have the city mini and LOVE it
it is easy to maneuver, lightweight, really easy to close (can close with one hand)
the only con is the size of the basket, but i believe they may have a new one that has a larger basket

I have the city mini GT and actually hate it bc whenever DD is in it she is pulling on the tray trying to lever herself up. It's constantly on a slight recline and doesn't go up further. She is 17mos and doesn't want to lay back and relax but sit up and look around. I am looking around for a new stroller bc she is so uncomfortable in the city mini.

Go with the Cruz. We were deciding between the same two strollers when I was pregnant with DD. The basket on the Mini is a PAIN. It's small, plus it's annoying to access.

What we love about the Cruz: can turn seat to face you or outward, can remove seat and use the frame as a snap and go, very large, easily accessible basket, can change positions of the bottom to allow for leg support (instead of legs hanging downward).

I have the city mini and I don't like the small basket on the bottom, it really messes things up for me...

Re: Crashing: City Mini vs. Cruz Stroller

I have a b-agile which is similar to the city mini. Loved it as a system with my infant seat. But once dd was ready for the stroller part, there was not enough support inside, and she hated that she couldn't face us. I had to get a different interim stroller. You will find these same issues with the city mini. I say go for the Cruz and graduate to the city mini when dc is a little older if you want something lightweight at that point.

We have the City Mini and are very happy with it. I have never found the basket to be too small either.
