I really can't take this
Hi Ladies,
I know most of you know what is going on with my twins. I really feel like I can't handle this. I am trying to take it one day at a time, but I have never felt so much pain in my heart. I am 19 weeks and we have until 24 to make this tough decision. I am praying these infusions from Dr. Kofinas help my boy, but even if they do, how long will they go and am I put the other baby in jeopardy! These are all the thoughts!!! There are so many different things to think about and I can't even wrap my head around them. I cannot take the thought of losing my baby boy. But on the other hand, it could save our baby girl! I feel like I can't even function anymore. I just needed to vent because I have no idea what to do anymore. Thanks for listening!

I really can't take this
I can't imagine what you're going through. A lot can happen in 5 weeks and you are under the best care the dr wouldn't do anything to jeopardize your other baby. Take it one day at a time...and like I said 5 weeks is a huge difference. Praying that the meds help.

 for you! So sorry you have to go through this. Don't lose hope. Hopefully your current course of action will help greatly and create a miracle for you. Is there anyone in your family you could talk to (aside from DH). Or maybe a priest or professional who could help you in accepting whatever decision you make?
(I don't know if you are religious, but St. Gerard is the saint for babies & mothers and St. Jude is the saint for causes that seem hopeless. I find comfort in praying their prayers.)

Sending so many your way. Like others have said, you are under the care of an amazing doctor, and we're all for you and your lbaby that everything works out. Vent whenever you need to, we're all here for you.

Have you considered talking to someone? Maybe your specialist has someone he refers his patients to for extra support.

I second the above comment. This is way more then you should need to deal with on your own, its just to hard. I will pray that a few more weeks offers more clarity to your decision. A lot can happen and change during that time and I hope that it all changes for the better.

I agree. This is just too hard of a decision. And I'm a numbers person - I would need to know the average week that someone in your position can make it to and the baby girls chances of survival at that week. I don't know how you and your DH could just make a decision like this on your own. You probably need guidance or more information.
I'm so so so sorry. Many prayers that the next few weeks provide you with clarity to make a decision.
