Recommend a centerpiece for baptism
At an AOH hall. Has to be quick and easy...very short notice. Can't really do balloons, cause I won't be in there early that day. Will go the night before to decorate.

A flowering plant always looks nice and it's quick and easy.

Foil balloons will keep.
Tie one to a small (cheap) stuffed animal (they sell them at party city for $5) & you have a cheap centerpiece that people can take home!.

Party city also offers something they add into the helium that keeps latex balloons full for 24 hrs +. We got did this once and did set up the night before and the balloons lasted for the party the next day and then some. Just in case you want to go the balloon route.

Thank you for this. I wanted to get this, but was afraid the stuff wouldn't actually work. Now I know, and I'm going to get them. I went to Dollar Tree and got glass fishbowls, blue glass beads and silver foil shreds. I have balloon weights. So I'm going to put the beads, silver balloon weight and silver shreds into the bowl and attach the balloons. I think it will look cute. Then I'll have all the stuff for future parties as well.
