Summer necessities for 1yr old

My dd's bday is at the end of Apr. I want to buy her stuff for the summer and also give ideas for what to get her for her bday. Plus we are going away in the beginning of June to Vegas so it will be really hot so I just want to make sure I buy everything I need for warm weather. She will be in a pool a lot.

So far I'm thinking at least 2 bathing suits with rash guards
Swim shoes
Hats
Sunglasses
Swimmers or a life jacket - what does everyone recommend?
Water and sand table
Baby pool

I'd get a bunch of bathing suits and rash guards. Two isn't enough and at that age sometimes it's easier after changing diapers to put on a dry bathing suit. We have a pool so I keep a bunch by the pool in case.

Love the water table. Keeps kids entertained.
Any cute water toy (inexpensive bc half the time I throw stuff out at the end of the summer bc of mold) Five Below is good for that.

sandals
tank tops and cute shorts
puddle jumper - for the pool
those nonspill snack cups (always good for them to hold while in the stroller and they can have Cheerios, goldfish, etc)

A mix of those for Vegas and the summer is good. Also don't forget a sweatshirt for Vegas bc the casinos are always so cold. Good to keep in the stroller.

For the summer I love sundresses they are so easy. Also if you're going to the pool a lot i like the zip up bathing suit cover ups. For a one year old a regular life jacket is best or a swim tube with a sunshade. We had this one.

I would say a few more bathing suits, swim diapers (I used reusable and disposable depending on where we were) water shoes.

DD turned 1 last april and she got a swing for the backyard (little tikes bucket style), a climber with slide, water table, water/sand toys, a hard plastic pool, a wagon. This year I'm hoping for a balance bike and maybe a cozy coupe.

I also have a bag with a waterproof blanket, some sand toys, and a hat that I always kept in my car for days we did a last minute stop at the park.

I prefer a swim vest over arm floaties at that age.

More than one pair of water shoes, especially if she's walking. You will have a hard time finding new ones by August, so buy an extra pair now.

Small pool toys, stackable water cups, etc.

If she's going to be out in the sun a lot, a good pair of baby sunglasses and a hat.

I love my clip on stroller fan. Someone always comments on it when we are out.

Baby powder (for the beach!!)

I have a travel high chair that I've taken everywhere with me...restaurants, hotels, by the pool, the beach (great for keeping them contained on the blanket), friends houses, used in my backyard after playing in the pool...). One of my better purchases.

How about a bigger hooded towel? My DD grew out of her infant ones around a year. Pottery barn kids, Denny's and carters has some cute toddler/kids' sized ones.
