Clothing sizes- what's after Toddler sizes?
DS is outgrowing size 5T or 5. I went to Toys R Us/ Babies R us and I can't find anything over 5T. May baby is growing up so fast. I hate not shopping in the infant/ toddler section. I went to Target and they do have size 6 pants but for shirts is the next size up XS? Also, do you find the older kids clothes to be more expensive? As far as shoes he wears a size 11. It goes up to a size 12 and starts over again at 1? I'm so confused. Please help.

Next size is kids :( I feel your pain I went through this last year with DS.
Some stores like Old Navy and Gap you will get XS or size 5 in the little kids section. Size 5 is bigger than 5T sometimes. If the store or brand goes from 5T to 6 then 6 would be the next size up.
I remember being sad and my DH making fun of me when I was shopping in the kids section over the summer for my DS.

Re: Clothing sizes- what's after Toddler sizes?
Kids XS is usually about a size 4-5. My son wears kids size 6 shirts, and I buy him Mediums in places like Target and Kohls.
I still shop for my son in Carters, since they are expanding their selection to bigger kids sizes.
But once in Kids, all the prices go up, even in pajamas!

You can get larger size pjs 7-12 at Osh Kosh. My DS is in size 7-8 depending on the arm/pant length. I shop at Gymboree, Crazy8, Children's Place, Old Navy, and the Gap for him. In Target he is a size Small. In shoes he is a 2 now. Yes, clothing is much more expensive now than it was when he was in the T sizes. Just know that it goes 6, 7, 8, 10. There is no 9.
