questions about having a sprinkle
I had one for my SIL in the fall, we invited close family and a few friends I think it was about 35 people (we have a large family). We didn't play games and on the invitation I said it was a luncheon to celebrate the new baby. No registry info if someone asked I told them.

questions about having a sprinkle
I think they are cute if they are small and intimate. We are having one for my BFF who is having a boy (her first child was a girl). I think the final guest list is about 15 women and we are just having it at her sister's house. Immediate family and close friends only. I like the idea PP mentioned saying it is a luncheon to celebrate the new baby.

Re: questions about having a sprinkle
I don't see why this should even be an issue or why the registry info would not be on the invite. Looks like you're having different sex LOs so that's a reason in itself why you would need new stuff for the baby. Also, looks like your LOs will be the exact age difference as mine and I found that I needed a ton of stuff for the new baby since DS is already 3 and I have very little things saved or have things that can be reused... I didn't put any big ticket items on my registry, but accumulated quite a lot of other essentials like BF necessities, bottles, bedding (having a DD this time around), Hygene and baby care, etc. I say go for it guilt free! Each baby should be celebrated!

Oh I don't think it is wrong to put registry info on the invite we didn't because my SIL felt funny and didn't want it o, if it was up to me I would have!

Re: questions about having a sprinkle
my mom threw me one for this baby & its my second boy... we're italian so thats just the way things go in my family lol we celebrate every baby!
it was just immediate family & my 6 close friends. i didnt register bc i didnt know i was having a sprinkle & dont really need a whole lot since its a boy again. my cousin had asked me a month before the sprinkle what i needed & turns out she told everyone else & i ended up getting all the little things i needed!
