Braxton hicks???

Every now and then I feel stomach tightening, so I think it's Braxton hicks, but it almost feels difficult to breathe. It lasts for a while. Definitely does not feel like contractions, but changing positions doesn't help...any thoughts?

I am 22 weeks...indigestion maybe?

That could be BH contractions, but I get bad heartburn/reflux and it puts a pressure feeling on my chest that sometimes feels like I can't breathe. When nothing else works, I take 2-3 Tums and that helps.

Should i expect them like every day now? i feel better this morning, but its happened two days in a row. i'm hoping not, because they were quite uncomfortable and I still have 17 more weeks to go!!

I went through periods where I would get them and then not get them. Drink more water to stay hydrated.

if they turn into a pattern & dont stop after hydration or changing positions call your OB! a contraction is a contraction & you never know what its doing to your cervix!

i dont mean to scare you, but i had BH contractions 2-3 minutes apart that wouldnt stop & i was sent to labor & deliver for preterm labor at 28w. now im on bed rest bc i still have them

ugh - i hope you are feeling better!

i remember what contractions felt like with DD, and this didnt feel like them, at all. this wasnt painful, just uncomfortable. It was tightness and stretching in my abdomin. it happened both saturday night and sunday night, and both times lasted for a few hours (which makes me wonder if was something else entirely). but either way, by morning it was gone. just going to keep an eye on things for a while....
