Snow tubing?
We'd love to take our kids for the day or 1 overnight. Is a 3 year old too young? We also have a almost 6 year old. If need be we could leave DD home with our parents and take DS out for a special day. Can you recommend a family friendly place to go that is not too far of a drive from LI? TIA!

Snow tubing?
Campgaw is great! We go several times in the winter. 30 minutes past the GW bridge. Family friendly, no punk kids running around. They do have a height requirement, so you little one probably can't go. You have to reserve your tickets online in advance. The Courtyard Mahwah is nice, has a nice indoor pool, and the rates aren't bad. There is also a Fairfield Inn that is nice, with free breakfast (beds aren't as comfy as Courtyard). Both are about 5 minutes from the mountain. My kids love going snowtubing, it's so fun!

There are a bunch of places int the Poconos. We went to Shawnee recently and my 38 inch tall son was allowed to ride in a tube by himself. But it was easier for us to do a double tube. It is a little over 2 hours to get there and it can be done in a day. But an overnight would make it easier.

The run is pretty basic, but they offer tubing at Woodloch Pines. Your little one would definitely be able to do it. Plus there are a ton of activities to keep you busy all day.
Mist bigger places have a height and age restriction.

We just took our 3 and 4 year olds, and they LOVED it! Definitely not too young.
I can't offer a place though since I live out of town.
