Any incentives to going and starting my registry in store vs. starting it online? Where DH and I are living right now the closest location is about 45 minutes away but on Long Island where all our family and friends will be shopping for our shower I know everyone prefers BBB to BRU. I went to my local BRU to check out some stuff in person but I want to actually register at BBB. Do they give you a goody bag or any additional registry incentives if I drive to the store rather than starting it online? I know BRU gives a better registry completion % off if you start the registry in store vs. online so I was wondering if BBB was the same thing. Thanks!

they did give a goody bag but I found the coupons in it were all expired and nothing great in it.

the completion is only 10% also.

BRU is also 10% completion BUT they have it where they'll give up to a $200 gift card depending on how much is bought off your registry (10% from each purchase is what makes up this gift card).

BRU also has more of an incentive if you have their rewards card since you'll get the points from the purchases from the registry and you'll get more coupons and such

There is no incentive to start the registry in person. They will give you a gift bag of samples and coupons if you go to the store after you set up your registry online you just have to go to the baby registry counter. The completion discount is 10% on everything no exclusions but you can use 20% off coupons from BuyBuybaby or Bed bath and beyond on most items. Once you sign up for a registry buybuybay will send you coupons in the mail.

If I'm not mistaken, you only get invited to the completion event if you create your registry in-store. THAT is a huge incentive since you get 20% off of anything you buy, with no exclusions.
