2nd Trimester - Increased Appetite?
I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow  and as of this morning, I'm starving even after eating something. I've been able to snack on fruit and stuff like that, and had a good breakfast, but wanted to see if this is part of 2nd trimester in general, or I could just be having one of those days where everything wants to get in my belly...Like the stack of pancakes in the kitchen in my office, or like 5 oranges...

2nd Trimester - Increased Appetite?
In the second trimester, I was ravenous!! In the morning, DH would crack up because I would pack a whole grocery bag full of food to eat at work...and then still eat a healthy serving of dinner. Embrace it!!! :)

LOL, I did the grocery bag full of food at my last job because there wasn't a kitchen with foods and snacks that they provided...Just started a new job 2 weeks ago and it's fully stocked, fruits, almonds, healthy snacks, etc. It's awesome lol so now I just pack my lunch and breakfast.
I totally embraced it when I ate half a jar of roasted peppers lastnight w/ my dinner lol

After not eating for the 1st trimester, I liked food in the 2nd and at times, still have hunger pains for food even after I finished eating. My doctor suggested eating protein as snacks as that will curb excessive snacking like cheese, granola bars, mixed nuts, etc.

Yup you'll be like this for a while, until baby gets too big and you can't eat as much anymore. This is how I wind up gaining too much weight during pregnancy.

2nd Trimester - Increased Appetite?
I am 20 weeks and have been eating like crazy! I have my breakfast and by the time I am at my desk for 30 minutes I am ready to make breakfast number two. It seems like its never enough!!

2nd Trimester - Increased Appetite?
My appetite did not really increase in the second trimester. Many of my food aversions from the first trimester thankfully went away. I have had a few days through out my pregnancy where I have been starving and eat non-stop. My OB is very strict about weight gain so I am really conscious about my food intake. I do not restrict myself but knowing I will have to face a discussion if I gain more than a pound per week keeps me from over indulging.

I have days here and there where I feel like I can't satisfy myself. Other than that, I've pretty much been eating like I normally do.

Thinking maybe it's just a day when I just need to eat a lot - I've been trying to eat healthy in general, just more of it today, so thinking I'll just have to watch out next time it happens. I can't eat too much either because then I just feel completely exhausted.

2nd Trimester - Increased Appetite?
I'm in the 2nd trimester and it really depends on the day. Some days I'll just much, much hungrier than other's. When that happens, I just eat what I need to until I'm satisfied. Listen to your body's cues!
