As one of the posters in the parenting group mentioned, according to Judaism it is best to avoid naming after someone who suffered an unnatural death since there is a far that their misfortune will transfer to their namesake. Judaism is extremely intolerable towards ppl who take their own lives as it is one of the biggest sins one can commit so I would assume this scenario is especially frowned upon.
