How much to pay babysitter who does nighttime routine?
How much would you pay a sitter if they are going to be involved in the whole evening bedtime routine?
Dinner, bath, bedtime...
I have only hired sitter's to just play with my kid & keep him company for $10 an hour, but now we need more for a time being, and I feel like I should pay more.
I think I just answered my own question, but feel free to add yours.

I get paid same amount per hour no matter what time if day when I babysit. I cook meals clean up bathe kids drive them (if necessary) read books get kids ready for bed ect. I also make surr house is straightened up before parents get home.

I charge $15-$20 per hr. I'm a 41 yr old Mom of 3. I know I would appreciate a tidy home when I return and knowing my kids are clean, fed and tucked in peacefully when Im out. I try to mimic the routine the parents have it makes the day/evening go so much smoother. I really don't mind doing anyt of these things..I would be doing them anyway at home :)

How much to pay babysitter who does nighttime routine?
The assistant from daycare takes DS home 2 nights a week. She gets home with him at 5:30 and will be there until 8:30 at the latest. He gets a bath between 6 and 7, and goes to bed between 6:30 and 7:30. Usually my DH gets home around 7:30 so she can go at that point. I give her $60 for the two days, regardless if she leaves early or at 8:30.

I would pay the same as I would pay someone who works during the day to be honest. They would be preparing lunch, getting the child ready for nap time, and possibly giving a bath if the child bathes in the morning. I don't think a nighttime routine warrants more money.
