where do you buy your sewing machine parts/accessories?
i'm ready to quilt my first quilt. i'm going to need a even feed/ walking foot for my sewing machine.
i have a singer with a slanted shank. i went to stony brook sew and vac but they didn't have what i needed and suggested i buy it online.
i just don't know where to shop for it. what's a reputable place i can get it from?

I would try Sew What's New on Montauk Hwy in Islip.

Sew Whats New is good - she is one of my customers.
Not sure if The City Quilter carries parts.
I don't quilt, just work in that industry.
I would love to learn, just seems like there is alot of math. Not my strong suit. I could be an art quilter perhaps.

sadly, i'm in NJ.
as far as the math... you'd be surprised how little math there is in quilting. there are so many tricks and cheats that it helps you get away with murder!
