Disney questions
So, we're going in a little less than 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure I set up the magical express for us months ago... but we haven't gotten any luggage tags or anything yet. Should we have gotten them already?? or do they come like right before you leave?
ALSO: characters. when I look on the "my Disney experience" website for the dates we're going, a few of the characters (mainly Buzz and Woody, Ana and Elsa) don't have times listed, and just say "call for availability". Does this mean certain characters won't be there while we're there, or is it just too far ahead? (they have the times up for the week before we go already... so I'm not sure how far ahead they post them).

Call them ASAP. Did you use a TA? If so they would have your tags and paperwork. I always get mine about 45-30 days out. I usually have to call to get more. Last time they only sent 3 or 4 and we get two free bags each bug usually bring 4-5 bags.
Both are greeting. All are schedule to change. Have you checked out character locator pro by Kenny the pirate app. Very helpful. Elsa and Anna were only supposed to greet until end of Jan. they were having 2-5 hour waits. They changed the times recently and extended their time but no end date given.

Buzz and woody meet separately at MK ....woody is with Jessie. They meet together at HS.
Good luck with the frozen girls. I hear one parent gets in line and waits while the other takes the kids and tours. It is craziness. My girls love them. But unless the lines slow by May we might have to skip.

Thanks! I actually found the luggage tags and bus "tickets" in my drawer we set it up back in the fall. when they came in the mail I put them in a drawer- forgot I did that!
and thanks for the info on Ana and Elsa....we'll probably pass on them if the lines are that crazy!
I just thought it was weird because when I look on the "My Disney Experience" site for Buzz and Woody for the week before we're going, it has times that they're there, etc. But for the week we're going it says " call for availability". I'm assuming they're there year round... but it was just weird. I have the Disney Experience App on my phone, so i'll check it when we're down there and see where the characters are
we went every other year when I was growing up, plus for my HS senior trip, and again with my parents during college, and then again 2 years ago with friends... so I'm not new to Disney. but this is my first time going as a mom- so its a whole new thing!!

We're here now. I'm taking a break. 
Buzz and woody are together at HS. We waited 3 hrs for Elsa and Anna. I had to. DD was so excited to see them. Get there as soon as you can. They start meet and greet at 11. You can do an early breakfast at Akershus to get into the park a little early.
I think I had my tags and bands about 4 weeks prior.

Disney questions
You can see Woody and Jesse together in Frontierland in MK. They are off to the left and up the hill as you head toward Splash Mountain. Buzz & Woody together are at Hollywood Studios. Anna & Elsa are supposed to be limited time only and not a permanent meet & greet in Norway @ Epcot.

The disney experience app is unreliable at best. I would get character pro is you can bc he gives exact locations of every single character, tips for seeing them etc. I found it much more helpful for characters than the disney app that would show characters meeting or not meeting but they were right in front of you. The disney app was ok for rides but even that was off by a lot sometimes with waits (it would say something was 15 mins and it was actually 70 or that it was 45 and it was actually 10).

Did one of you wait while the rest toured? I hear most are doing that. Btw did you go since they just switched them to meeting at 9? I hear it has helped a bit with the waits.

haha that doesn't matter in my case! I have a 3 year old son, and he thinks Ana is "pretty" and asked if he'll see her in Disney
Thanks everybody for the help! I'm really trying not to stress the trip too much- I want to just go with the flow so he has fun... but I also don't want to come home and be like "oh! we should've done this or that".

I saw a notice that they were staying put in their current location through December 31, 2014.
