April mommies
What did you have ur child come home from the hospital in??
Im due April 23rd and i am starting to look at coming home outfits but I am unsure of heavy or light....
Help dress my DS please!! haha

i would go with a cotton sleep n play and a blanket. you dont know what the weather will be and its easy to add a warm blanket in the car if necessary. plus you can have DH warm up the car before you and baby get in it

DD was born april 22nd. She came home in a cotton sleep and play and a cotton hat with an A&A muslin blanket over her. I think I had a heavier blanket also just in case we needed something warmer.

My DD was born the 19th. She needed a heavier outfit and a hat. It was chilly but it's just a quick pose for pictures lol

I was due Apr 9 but had my DD on March 25. The week before she was born I had a false alarm and went to the hospital - it was snowing that night. On the day she came home, it was warm. I had her in a long sleeve cotton onesie and comfy sweats and a hoodie from GAP. I also had the JJ Cole Car Seat cover on. She was VERY overdressed and was sweating by the time she got home. That time of year is so unpredictable. If I were you I might bring two different things to the hospital or plan for layers so you can add/take away as needed.

april 23rd is my ds's birthday!!
He came home in a onsie, pants, and caridgan set.. with blanket over him to go in and out of car... it was super warm 3 years ago that day

Long sleeves onesie, several sizes too big, no pants. We did have a blanket and his hat on him though.

April is tough. My DD was born April 2011 and it was SO warm that she actually looked in a little hot in what I brought for her.
I brought her one in one of the Carters 3 piece sets...the pants with feet, onsie and cardigan. She had a headband and I had a matching cotton blanket.
I am due in April again (the 24th) and I am bringing something similar!

I have an April baby and one on the way as well. 
DD1 came home in a short sleeve onesie, footed pants, a cardigan, hat, and we had a blanket over her. Once I started feeling warm in the car I just took the blanket off her.
For DD2 I just purchased a one piece footie outfit with matching hat and will bring a onesie for underneath along with a blanket. Blanket and hats are easy enough to take off in the car so that's the plan.

I am due April 9 and bought a sleeper gown and matching hat. Depending on the weather I can add pants under and a warm blanket on top.
