City select double vs city mini double

I am having twins and got the city select double but thinking I should get the mini....seems to collapse easier. Any advice!!!!!?!?!?

i was between the same two strollers (my kids will be 15 months apart though). and my thought is exactly the same as yours - i am leaning towards the city mini double bc it is much easier to collapse. i thought of removing that second seat every time i need to put it away seems like it would get annoying.

a lot of moms on here highly recommend the city select double bc of all the seat combinations and they say that the city mini is too wide.

i have three friends with the city mini double and they say they have no problems fitting through doorways with it. yes there are some smaller stores that it is hard to maneuver in but that's even with a single stroller sometimes.
one of my friends actually had the city select double for her twins and said it got too hard to push - it was so long her exact quote to me was that it felt like pushing a bus. she switched and got the city mini double and is much happier with it.

We're choosing between these two as well (my children will be 18 months apart). I'm leaning towards the City Select because it's tandem. I'm concerned about getting through aisles in stores with a side by side. I have 2 friends with the City Mini double and they both hate the basket. I'm curious to read the responses you receive.

I have the city mini single for my son and the stroller is great bc it is light and folds so quick and compact but the storage/basket stinks. It is very tiny. Think the double is similar that way. I have the select double open that I might exchange and the basket is huge on it. I really just feel like having to remove that 2nd seat every time I fold it up will become annoying! So hard to decide!!'

I don't have twins, or two kids, but I do have both the City Mini (for my parents) and the City Select (my main stroller).

The basket in the City Mini is absurdly tiny and hard to reach. I can't imagine fitting what I needed when DD was a newborn and being able to access it, I imagine it's similar with the City Mini double.

The City Mini folds so easily, that's the main reason I purchased it for my parents. In the beginning I hated folding the City Select, it took me a while to figure out how to close it properly but once I figured it out it's pretty easy. I usually face DD towards me so I remove the seat each time, it takes a few more minutes but it's really not bad.

I always feel awful for the side-by-side doubles I see that can't fit into tight spaces, it seems so cumbersome.

I don't have twins but I have 2 kids and I have the city select. I love it! I went with the select over the mini double because I liked that the seats could be changed and that it was front/back. Once you get the hang of folding it it's a breeze. Only draw back would be that you have to take the 2nd seat off to collapse it. One major plus is the giant basket!

I believe the newer City Minis (specifically the GT but not sure if that comes in a double) have bigger baskets. My GT single has a pretty decent sized basket.

I have the City Select (dd and ds are 16 months apart) and I love it! Sure, taking the seats off can get annoying, but i'm so used to it that it doesnt bother me. The basket is amazing. When I go food shopping, I hand my diaper bag on the handle and use the basket for groceries. Of course if I'm doing a huge food shopping, it doesn't work. But otherwise, it's awesome.
