I've never used one before. the instructions say not to put medicine in. Can I use the vicks drop in things?

I use eucalyptus (sp?) Oil in mine to help with stuffy nose & congestion

I use a regular humidifier but then use the Vicks nightlight. I love it! You drop in pads into the slot and they have them in a pediatric version (eucalyptus and lavender).
